Rentals and Leasing Options for Ambulances
There are many reasons that departments need to look for ambulances to rent or lease. Sometimes the unexpected can happen and one of your few ambulances in your fleet breaks down. Just because that happens doesn’t mean the world stops needing the support that your ambulance brings every day, and so you need temporary relief while your old one is being repaired. Or maybe you have a big upcoming event that requires you have more vehicles ready to cover more ground or more people temporarily. Whatever the reason, North Central Emergency Vehicles has many ambulances that are reliable and ready to be rented or leased. On average, we usually have 5-6 ambulances available to rent or lease, so they could even be rented as a fleet if need be!
North Central Ambulance Loaner/Rental Policy
- Ambulance rental will be $215.00 per day for loaner/rental ambulance for any service that rents/leases an ambulance. A minimum 2 week loaner/rental fee is required. Exceptions to this fee will be for loaner/rental ambulances used by current NCEV customers that are having remounts or repair work performed by NCEV. Mileage over 1,000 miles will be billed and additional $0.50/mile.
- Pick up and delivery of the loaner/rental ambulance is available for $25.00 an hour plus fuel costs/travel expenses. The Ambulance will be full of fuel when it leaves NCEV and will be filled upon return to NCEV.
- Lessor/renter is required to perform all regular maintenance on the vehicle while in their possession including preventative maintenance (oil changes) every 2,500 miles.
- Lessor/renter will be responsible for any damage to the ambulance while in their possession.
- Lessor/renter is required to hold insurance on the rental/loaner ambulance while in their possession. Proof of insurance will be provided to NCEV.
- The loaner/rental ambulance will be cleaned prior to leaving NCEV. The ambulance shall be returned clean or the vehicle will be cleaned at NCEV and the Lessor/Renter will be responsible for a $50.00 per hour clean-up charge.
In-House Repairs/Remounts
- For ambulance loaner/rentals for work performed by NCEV, at NCEV the charge will be $125.00 per day plus $0.12 per mile for wear and tear. Pick up and delivery is available for $25.00 per hour plus fuel costs/travel expenses.
