Express

Braun’s Express ambulance is known as the best little “bus” in the business due to its solid, compact design and durable solid-body construction.  

Braun’s attention to detail, especially within its interiors, provides its passengers and responding emergency medical professionals with a clean, bright working environment. Braun takes an equal amount of care in the Express’s exterior design. Its Whelen warning and scene lights are positioned for optimal viewing, while its front and rear flush-mount light bars make sure both passenger and ambulance crew stay safe on the road by effectively alerting traffic.

The Braun Express model offers flexibility by offering four chassis design options. It can be built on the Ford E-350, Ford F-350, RAM D-3500, Chevy C-3500, or Chevy G-3500. Signature Series

Braun’s Signature Series ambulance boasts quality design and functionality, and is a direct result of customer demand. The Signature Series reflects the need for an ambulance with superior engineering and product configuration at an economical price.

Braun’s Signature Series offers superior outside storage space, including a pre-configured outside storage space to accommodate a stair chair. In addition, the Signature Series offers its exclusive SolidBody™ Construction, EZ Glide Door, MasterTech FleetConnect, Eberhard free floating latches, and Braun’s exclusive Vital Max™ Lighting. This ambulance’s unique features set it apart from the rest.

Each unit comes standard with an all-LED exterior warning lighting package, all aluminum welded interior cabinets that provide additional strength and increase long-term durability. The interior cabinets incorporate Braun’s “We’ve taken the edge off” rounded corners for passenger safety. Beyond its superior safety measures, the Signature Series interior also has a second action area to accommodate a defibrillator, and a customized front wall ALS cabinet with a locking drug cabinet.

Liberty

Braun’s Liberty ambulance is a customizable base unit with a wide variety of options, making it an ideal economical solution for the specific needs of all EMS professionals. The Liberty ambulance model affords every department the opportunity to own a customized, handcrafted ambulance from an industry-respected manufacturer.

The Braun Liberty base model is “Built for Life.” It is smaller in scale than Braun’s larger-scale units (with only a 156” module), but the Liberty shares the same commitment to quality design and adheres to the same high safety standards that Braun puts in place for all its emergency vehicles.

In addition to its top-of-the-line standard features, the Braun Liberty boasts exceptional custom options. Braun’s in-house design team works closely with you and your Braun dealer to help customize the design your new Liberty ambulance into an emergency vehicle that provides your EMS personnel with all the tools required to help save lives!

Chief XL

The Chief XL is the most popular ambulance model made by Braun due to its impressive versatility. The Chief XL ambulance is available in both Type I ambulances and Type III ambulances and is available on a variety of chassis. This model has more headroom than most units with a height of 72″ and includes more space in the module and for storage.

Most importantly, the Chief XL ambulance is handcrafted with Braun’s SolidBody™ Construction for increased patient and crew safety. Built as one integrated module from .125″ flat sheet of marine grade aluminum, the floor, roof, sides and doors are all constructed from brake-formed parts with fully welded seams. Braun’s SolidBody™ Construction reduces the weight of the vehicle and adds strength to the module.

In addition to its superior construction and wide-range of chassis options, the Braun Chief XL ambulance also features many of Braun’s standard features that make its emergency vehicles well-known throughout the industry.

Super Chief

Braun’s Super Chief is one of the safest and largest ambulances in the industry, specifically designed to handle the high demands of busy departments and to carry more equipment. The Super Chief offers a roomy interior with over 73″ of headroom and additional storage areas for all of your equipment.

The Super Chief is available on the International 4300, Freightliner M2, Ford F-650, and Spartan MetroStar chassis. It comes with the same standard features that Braun includes in all of its ambulance models, including SolidBody™ Construction, angled fluorescent lighting, Braun’s EZ Glide™ Doors, MasterTech FleetoConnect™, and a variety of other options.

Like other Braun models, the Super Chief is fully customizable to meet the demands of your department. This model is ideal to complement larger, medium-duty chassis preferred by many fire departments and rescue squads.

Express Plus

Braun’s Express Plus ambulance is often referred to as the best little “bus” in the business. This model is available as a fully customizable Type I ambulance and is available on a Ford F-series or Ram chassis. The module is 150″ and features 72″ of headroom.

The Express Plus ambulance is built using Braun’s SolidBody™ Construction, ensuring the safety of your crew and patients. It also features Braun’s EZ Glide™ sliding door, which eliminates the need for a door swinging open into traffic, keeping your crew safe. Standard features on the Express Plus ambulance include Braun’s all aluminum welded interior cabinets with rounded corners, high performance HVAC system, extensive interior and exterior storage, and spray foam insulation.

The Express Plus ambulance is fully customizable to meet the wants and needs of your department, and allows customers to choose the options and features that are most important to them.
